| Welcome Back!! | I wanna ask you 2 things really quick…
1️⃣ Have you used your debit card in the last 30 days? Yes? okay… 2️⃣ Do you care about your privacy at all? Yes?! Oh man ur gonna love this one… | Your debit card is the WORST thing you can use…
Obviously, a debit card is what you use to PAY with YOUR money. But that comes with a weird cost. When you swipe it, that money leaves YOUR account immediately. Like, instantly. Gone. | Which means if someone skims your card at a gas station, hacks your info online, or hits you with fraud, they now have direct access to YOUR money. Your rent money. Your grocery money, etc etc. | And if you’ve ever been in the situation where your money got stolen, it’s a pain in the ass to get it back. Now you gotta dispute with your bank, hoping they’ll fix it. And god forbid you needed that money for bills or something. It’s just a pain. | On top of that, your debit card gives you ZERO rewards. No points. No cash back. Nothing. You're basically spending money and getting nothing in return when there’s a way better option out there :)
Let me guess… I should use a credit card?
Yep! For everything. | Groceries, subscriptions, gas, food, movie tickets, Amazon and everything else.
But Mikey aren’t I gonna have debt and interest?
Nope, because you’re gonna be a Responsible Adult and never buy something you CAN’T otherwise buy in cash ANDDDD you’re gonna pay that credit card to 0 every week :) | Yeah I know, weekly sounds crazy, but trust me. I started paying weekly and it changed everything for me. Once I was able to see how much I spent on a weekly basis, it made me WAY more aware of what I was doing week over week. It also allowed me to receive ALL the rewards from a credit card while never having any debt or interest :)
| But what about my money in the bank? What’s going on there? | Here's where things get juicy 😎
While you're out there swiping your credit card, your money is gonna be sitting in the bank. I hope by now, you’ve learned enough from this newsletter that you have a HIGH YIELD savings account so your money can sit in the bank and collect interest.
If you’re using Chase, Bank of America, PNC, Navy Federal, Wells Fargo, Local Credit Unions, Regions, Citizens, BMO, USAA and tons of others… It’s time to grow up.
No, you do not need a physical bank. You need a bank that pays you.
A High Yield has all the things that ur bank has now. You get customer service, debit cards, ATM’s, and more. If it helps you at all, I personally use this one RIGHT HERE. | For the love of god, get a High Yield. It’s 2026. If you don’t have one of these, you are dramatically behind. | So continuing on… Interest is racked up daily. Whether it’s on a credit card or in your bank. So the longer ur money is in the bank, the more it earns in interest. | I REALLY hope ur seeing the vision by now… You get rewards and protection from the credit card, and you get daily interest in the bank. It’s literally the perfect system. | | What Would Stack Do?
Stack keeps his money in the bank and uses his credit card everyday. He uses that credit card ONLY on things he can afford to pay in cash and then BOOM… Pays it off on Sunday.
It doesn’t matter whether he gets paid every week, bi-weekly, once a month, every time a bird shits on his car… Every. Single. Sunday. His credit card is paid to 0.
If you need a visual, here ya go 👇
| Credit Card | ✅ You earn rewards. Cash back OR Points (who tf doesn’t want free stuff) | ✅ You're using the BANK'S money, not yours (this is good) | ✅ Purchase protection on what you buy | ✅ Fraud? Bank handles. Your money is safe and cozy in the bank. | Debit Card | ❌ Zero rewards. Ever. | ❌ You're using YOUR money (that sucks) | ❌ No purchase protection | ❌ Fraud? You’re cooked. | | Also really quickly wanted to say… This is officially our 2 month anniversary as a newsletter and I just wanted to say I’m super thankful for all of you 🥹 In 2 months we have just over 19,300 subscribers, and almost 20k followers on our Instagram.
